New Brainstorm

Ever since I made the James Brown tote for someone, I was trying to come up with a way I could take ordinary pictures and turn them into images on bags for people. So, here are a couple I made.

And.. a few more...

Wanted to add a few more pics to show you what I am doing!

I haven't been on much because I've been focusing a lot on learning how use my camera for some reason. I do have some new bags I would like to post. And, remember, I am happy to make one just for you... just let me know! ;)

What's going to happen on Feb 10th?

A lot of my buyers are moms who buy little pre-school bags for their kiddos. I’ve really just gotten started, and I just learned about this new law. I guess I just think it’s sad that a lot of the small business owners or just crafty people who sell a few items for kiddos here and there will be doing something illegal if they don’t start testing their product before selling it. (Testing costs roughly $140 per item and my totes are $12 each, not very promising...)

There's a movement of citizens inspired by the presidential campaign who are now submitting ideas for how they think the Obama Administration should change America. It's called "Ideas for Change in America."

One idea is titled: Save Handmade Toys From the CPSIA. I thought you might be interested in getting involved and recommend you check it out. You can read more and vote for the idea by clicking the following link:

http://www.change.org/ideas/view/save_handmade_toys_from_the_cpsia

The top 10 ideas are going to be presented to the Obama Administration on Inauguration Day and will be supported by a national lobbying campaign run by Change.org, MySpace, and more than a dozen leading nonprofits after the Inauguration. So each idea has a real chance at becoming policy.

Thanks for just reading this...

Have a Merry Christmas!

James Brown..

I had a special request to make a tote bag for a little one who is IN LOVE with James Brown. I struggled with what to do. The mom wanted some dance moves if possible.. Yikes. I think it turned out pretty OK! :)

Sweet! :)

I just got added to a Treasury on Etsy today... I know it's silly, but I was excited to see that someone noticed and added me to a collection... Yay!
